Naidu hand in glove with Congress, says Purandeswari

Speaking to media persons at party office, she said Chandrababu Naidu was going to Delhi to thank Congress leaders for supporting ‘no-confidence motion’ which shows how close he was working with Congress party.

BJP senior leader and former Union minister D Purandeswari on Saturday said Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu was working hand in glove with Congress party which was against party founder NT Rama Rao’s wish.

Speaking to media persons at party office, she said Chandrababu Naidu was going to Delhi to thank Congress leaders for supporting ‘no-confidence motion’ which shows how close he was working with Congress party. She said during the time of Telangana agitation Chandrababu Naidu had given his consent for State bifurcation.

Purandeswari said the NDA government was ready to do the needful for Andhra Pradesh, including railway zone. She said that TDP was the only reason for delay in Dugarajapatnam port and Kadapa steel plant. “We are going to contest all Parliament and Assembly seats without any alliance and are confident about securing maximum number of seats,” she said, adding that BJP never did politics in developing States.
