Fool-proof arrangements in place
Chief Secretary SP Singh has directed that the officials concerned make fool-proof arrangements for the three-day “Global Entrepreneurship Summit-2017” and also prestigious launch of Metro Rail in the city on Nov 28 both to be addressed and launched by Prime Minister Narendra Modi. At Secretariat, Singh conducted a high level review meeting and said that Narendra Modi will launch the Metro Rail on Nov 28 and the rail at the station should be decorated to suit the occasion. The Prime Minister should get a warm welcome at the Begumpet Airport with welcome arches and he will be received by Governor ESL Narasimhan, Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao and cabinet ministers.
Besides making special security arrangements at Golconda Fort for a dinner to be hosted by the Chief Minister steps should be initiated to make separate arrangements for foreign delegates at Shamshabad Airport to attend GES conference. The crucial meeting gets significance in the wake of Prime Minister visit to the city for the two major events in the city. Modi will launch the Metro Rail at Miyapur at about 3 pm and address the global conclave in the evening at HICC. Metro Rail MD, NVS Reddy said that Metro Rail is ready for the launch by the prime minister on Nov 28. Its services will be started for general public on Nov 29. GAD officials, Principal secretaries, secretaries, DGP Mahender Reddy, Police top officials, Collectors of Hyderabad and Ranga Reddy districts and others attended.
