Take sufficient of water-
– Drinking sufficient amount of water in the morning would flush out the excess acid and other oily substances from the stomach that deposited during the night. Coconut water also provides great relief to the people suffering from acidity.
– One can also drink lukewarm water with a few drops of lemon in an empty stomach in the morning and it will completely wash away acidity from the stomach.
Take Yoga and Exercise-
Do regular Yoga and exercises every day. It will keep the stomach, digestive system and nervous system in good stead. Avoid depression and anxiety.
Take Indian Jaggery Everyday-
Jaggery helps in digestion and becomes alkaline in the digestive system and thus help in reducing stomach acidity. Indian homemade jaggery is available in grocery stores. Suck a small piece of Jaggery every day. But those having diabetes should not take jaggery as it will increase their sugar level more.
Fruits that help reducing acidity –
A number of fruits help in reducing the acidity level of a person. Include bananas, papayas, watermelons, Guava and cucumbers in the food menu. The acidity will be reduced considerably.
